Priority Urgent Care is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Ellington, CT

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

- Perform basic clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Assist in patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient information such as vital signs and medical history
- Administer injections or medications as directed by physicians
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of medical instruments and equipment
- Provide exceptional patient service and support

Skills:

- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
- Experience with medical coding is a plus
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to handle inhalers and other medical devices
